Simply one wine, pinot noir, and the best we can possible produce. In 1978 Vance Rose had a bottle of 1959 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze and ever since he has been in pursuit of great pinot noir. After 27 years in the wine business, he has finally made his very own. Together with Tom Habbick they have a deep-rooted passion for pinot noir and strive to do everything possible in the vineyard and as little as possible in the winery to bring you rich, ripe, full-flavored site expressive pinot noir in small lots.
